On March 30, Beiwake officially launched the AD2-S-X3 high-performance lidar for global sale.
This new product is tailor-made for smart transportation scenarios and can be widely used in various scenarios such as global highways, civil aviation, rail transit, shipping, and mining trucks.
The AD2-S-X3 lidar is based on the Beixing Yinglong platform and has an ultra-high resolution of up to 0.1°×0.1°. Its entire field of view is 120° (horizontal) x 25.6° (vertical) and can achieve high-definition detection capabilities. This marks that the entire smart transportation field will officially enter the 256-line era, which not only has strong sensing capabilities and high reliability, but also takes into account the sustainable upgrade of future performance.

AD2-S-X3 fully complies with the rigorous testing and mass production system of automotive regulations, and has passed multiple extreme tests such as high and low temperatures, direct sunlight, strong vibration and impact. Its innovative architectural design not only ensures high performance, but also optimizes weight to a minimum, effectively reduces motor load, improves the machine's adaptability to high and low temperature environments, and enhances electromagnetic compatibility. AD2-S-X3 maintains stable and accurate detection status all day long, providing safer guarantee for the operation of various scenarios. Considering the global market, AD2-S-X3 has obtained RoHS, CE, FCC, FDA and other certifications to provide more reliable protection for global customers.

The laser radar dedicated production line deployed by Beixing can realize automated production of processes such as automatic AA coupling, automatic glue dispensing, and automatic assembly and locking. Through years of accumulated mass production experience, we have created a highly integrated, fully automatic lidar intelligent test line. A single test line can cover the measurement range, blind zone, ranging accuracy/accuracy, reflectivity, frame rate, and field of view angle. The calibration and testing of 11 key lidar parameters has the advantages of fully automatic, multi-parameter, and multi-test scenario integration, which greatly improves the completeness and overall efficiency of the test. In the future, by increasing the number of equipment in key processes, the production capacity can be quickly doubled within 3 months.

AD2-S-X3 lidar uses 905nm active light source sensing, with a maximum detection range of up to 350 meters, and will become the performance ceiling of "905nm ranging + angle measurement" in the industry. It can capture targets more sensitively and further reduce the rate of false detection or missed detection in sensing scenarios. In addition, users can dynamically adjust key detection areas to greatly improve the detection accuracy of target areas. The ultra-high resolution of AD2-S-X3 allows it to capture richer scene details in the same scene, providing higher safety redundancy.

Continuous performance upgrades
AD2-S-X3 adopts a modular design of 2D scanning system and array transceiver to support continuous upgrade and iteration of product performance, and better meets application needs such as enhanced scene perception and completion of digital twins. This product has a higher cost performance and greatly reduces customers' usage costs. At the same time, deployment in complex scenarios has become simpler, reducing the difficulty of customer operations.
Previously, Beixing became the first company in the industry to deploy in the transportation field as early as 2020. Today, it has been operating stably for more than 30,000 hours in more than 80 projects in more than 30 cities. In 2020, BeiXing signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Beijing Jiaotong University and released the industry's first white paper focusing on the comprehensive application of radar technology in rail transit scenarios. In 2022, Beixing will cooperate with Traffic Control Technology to create a fully automatic operation route tailored for the western section of Beijing Subway Line 11 (Winter Olympics branch line), demonstrating Beixing's deep strength in the field of intelligent transportation. In addition, our technology is also widely used in many national key projects such as the Three Gorges Project, Beijing Capital Airport, and Beijing-Taiwan Expressway. It can be said that AD2-S-X3 is an upgrade that fully absorbs the market-proven experience of the Horn series. It is also an application extension of the AD2 series and a high-level evolution of the combination of the two.
